II-SDV 2016 The Meeting

The International Information Conference on Search, Data Mining and Visualization.

The 2016 II-SDV Conference in Nice, 18 - 19 April 2016

The  II-SDV meeting takes place in Nice in April 2016 for an intensive two days. Venue is the Hotel Plaza in central Nice. The meeting provides an international forum for those in the field of advanced search applications, data and text mining, and visualization technology. The primary focus is on tools for intelligence and the meeting examines the requirements of specialists in scientific and technical information.
The meeting will be of interest to those who wish to update themselves and keep in touch with the leading edge of information search and analysis technologies; it features approximately 22 speakers for the two days. There will be an adjacent, focused exhibition to complement the conference programme.
II-SDV is organised by Dr Haxel CEM and Infonortics. To be informed of details of the 2016 meeting as they become available, please click here.

UPDATES

AI-SDV is coming soon / Important update of the Corona situation in Nice

I am very sorry, but currently there are no good news from Nice: The southern city of Nice has banned public gatherings of more than 10 people and has restricted bar opening hours as France’s public health agency reported a record daily spike in infections and warned that deaths from Covid-19 are rising again for the first time since the nationwide lockdown had been lifted.

On Friday, 18th September, France registered 13,215 new infections

The final decision whether we will host the hybrid meeting from Nice or from my office in Germany will be made on Thursday 1st October.

I encourage all our Exhibitors to invite all attendees to a seperate zoom, webex, google meet session during the coffee and lunch breaks for a break out sessions via the chat function in zoom. The Exhibitors are invited to use the chat function during the zoom session. I will promote this after every product presentation.

We still have 30 seats: Every registered Attendee may invite an additional virtual attendee free of charge. Our goal is that we will have about 100 attendees by 5th of October – 50 % more attendees than last year!

Save the date

AI-SDV 2020 Conference and exhibition is planned to be held at the Hotel Aston la Scala at the same time physically and virtually. Speakers, attendees and exhibitors are invited to join physically or virtually. We are currently developing a range of digital formats that respond precisely to the speakers, attendees and exhibitors needs, enabling individuals and exhibitors from AI industry and related sectors worldwide to participate in the AI-SDV 2020 in Nice.

Due to rapidly changing developments, it is essential that the overall situation be reviewed on an ongoing basis and any measures taken are updated to reflect the evolving legal requirements.

Corona Action Plan:

It is with a heavy heart and considerable regret that we have taken the decision to postpone the AI-SDV 2020 until autumn this year.

In view of the present situation with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and travel restrictions for many of our attendees and speakers it makes sense to move the meeting to a later date. We are contacting all participants individually and we do apologise for any inconvenience caused by this announcement, but we hope you appreciate our reasons for making this decision.
