In conjunction with the 2019 IC-SDV conference, Search Technology (VantagePoint) and BizInt Solutions (BizInt Smart Charts) will sponsor the 2019 Analytics and Visualization Meeting.

The VantagePoint and BizInt Smart Charts - 2019 Analytics and Visualization Meeting will focus on creating effective reports, analytics, and visualizations to support decision making, and will feature user case studies, product updates, and two tracks of workshops.

We are soliciting case study presentations by customers showing how they used the VantagePoint and/or BizInt Smart Charts tools to address analytic and visualization challenges.

This meeting is designed for current and prospective users of VantagePoint or BizInt Smart Charts.

Research pipeline development is a key focus of biotechnology companies as they strive to bring better future treatments to patients. Timely identification of therapeutic targets and analysis of competitor progress is crucial in the drug development process in order to develop a successful research strategy. Researchers can independently use various avenues to gather and filter through the vast amount of material using a painstaking and long manual curation processes. The speed and accuracy of this process can be greatly enhanced by using advanced tools developed for this specific purpose. This presentation describes how competitor landscape analysis prepared using BizInt Smartcharts and VantagePoint helped guide pipeline research strategy.

In this workshop, you will learn how to import search results (pipeline, patents, or clinical trials), create and customize tabular reports, and combine search results from different databases. If you want to follow the step-by-step instructions, we will provide sample datasets or you can bring your own data.

This workshop will start with the multi-database combined reports created in Workshop I, and show how to use the features of the BizInt Smart Charts Reference Rows utility to create an integrated report based on your preferences and rules. You will learn how to export your integrated report to Word, Excel and VantagePoint - Smart Charts Edition.

In this workshop, you will take the integrated reports created in Workshop II and learn how to use VP-SCE to clean-up data, identify keywords, filter data, and create analytics for reports and visualizations.
