Patrick Terroir

Graduated from ENA (promotion 1976), Patrick began his career at the Ministry for Health and Social Security.
In 1981, Patrick was appointed chief of the Bureau of International Financial Affaires, at the Department of Treasury, Ministry of Finance. In 1986, he became chief of the Bureau for Financing and Participation, in charge of oil, steel, chemicals and raw materials sectors.
In July 1988, Patrick was nominated as Deputy Director of the Office of the Minister for Labour, Professional Training and Employment.
In 1989, Patrick jointed Caisse des dépôts (CDC) and was appointed Head of Social-Housing Financing Department, Saving Funds Branch. In June 1995, he took the post of the Legal and Public Treasury Department at Banking-services Branch of the CDC. Patrick was afterwards between 2000 and 2003.appointed CDC Regional Director for the Paris-Ile de France region.
In 2003, he was named as advisor of the Executive Committee of the CDC and assumed position of Chairman of Val de Marne- Paris Development Agency.
From 2006 to 2009, he took the function of Delegate of the Competitiveness and Innovation Poles.
Patrick Terroir was then appointed in September 2010 Managing Director of CDC Intellectual Property, an affiliated company of the CDC.
Patrick is also lecturer at Sciences Po Paris, teaching macro economics, and new markets for Intellectual Property.
