CFL Software was founded 25 years ago and specialises in document comparison.  CFL stands for Computational Forensic Linguistics, and the forensic element means that we provide output of evidentiary quality for use in legal proceedings.  Our proprietary algorithms were initially designed for plagiarism detection, and operate at sentence level for maximum accuracy.  Over the years these algorithms have been extended into areas as diverse as providing a monitoring system for a  music review site and a close comparison tool for translation research.  Most recently we have designed a numerical searching system for patent search.
