Alexander Giesen

Alexander heads a small patent search company in Aachen and serves as the CEO of varidian GmbH since 2006. After his PhD in Organic Chemistry (RWTH Aachen) he started his professional career as a research scientist at the University of St. Andrews (UK) and worked as a consultant for Leeds University (UK) before taking up a position in the pharmaceutical industry. Alexander holds an MBA from Henley Management College (UK).
