Ben Gardner

Ben obtained a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Kent at Canterbury (1996) followed by postdoctoral positions at the James Black Foundation and the National Institutes of Health before joining Pfizer in 2000. In 2003 became member of an initiative to enable access globally to all Pfizer research data, and developed its research information portal (Research Gateway). In 2005 he took on role as global lead for Data Architecture in the research closed loop initiative. Currently Ben is the Biology Data Manager for the Sandwich site Scientific Information Services group with responsibility for supporting data integration, visualisation and access across internal and external data sources.
