Christoph Hoock

Christoph Hoock director of PATON (Patent center Thuringia = Landespatentzentrum Thüringen in Ilmenau Germany) since 2010.He acted as PATLIB committee member in 2013 + 14 and is lecturing at Technical University in Ilmenau Germany on intellectual property and IP management. 

He holds a PhD in Chemistry. After 5 years experimental work as chemist (research on steroids and antiviral compounds) and joined the pharmaceutical industry in 1997 as information specialist (head of patent information at Byk Gulden/ Altana/ Nycomed). From 2002 – 2010 he was head of patents and market research at AWD (pharmaceutical company in Germany Dresden).
