Hans-Peter Schnurr

Hans-Peter Schnurr is cofounder and president of ontoprise GmbH and responsible for organization and business development. From 1995 to 1998 Hans-Peter worked for McKinsey & Company as a strategic consultant for the TIME industries (telecommunication, IT, multimedia, and e-commerce). Since 1998 he manages a European research project on semantic technologies at the AIFB Institute of Karlsruhe University. Hans-Peter Schnurr has published many papers on knowledge management, process organization, and semantic technologies; he organized the 1st Conference on Professional Knowledge Management, is a founding member of the Gesellschaft für Wissensmanagement ( Society of Knowledge Management) and a member of many scientific advisory boards and steering committees of innovation projects funded by the EU and German Ministry for Research & Development (BMBF). Hans-Peter Schnurr holds a diploma in industrial engineering from Karlsruhe University.
