Ian Harrow PhD (Cantab), BSc (Hons) is a Senior Principal Scientist in the eBiology group which is part of the Research Enabling Group at Pfizer in Sandwich, UK. He plays a leading role in the pre-competitive Pistoia Alliance serving as working group leader for the SESL project to determine the feasibility of a knowledge brokering service for the biomedical literature and bioinformatics databases. He is a skilled practioner in sequence analysis, gene annotation and text mining technologies to support pharmaceutical research.
