Lee Harland

Lee is the founder of SciBite, a company pioneering the use of artificial intelligence and ontology-based semantic analysis in the life-science sector. He has over 20 year’s experience in life sciences in both industry and academia, leading semantic web, data integration and text-mining using the latest technologies to derive knowledge from vast quantities of information. He has published a number of key papers in these areas and contributed leadership, advice or code to many teams including the Pistoia Alliance, Open PHACTS, BiomedBridges, the Experimental Factor Ontology/Biosamples and ChEMBL groups.
