Education: After undergraduate training in India, I obtained my Masters in Molecular Medicine at the Pennsylvania State University with a focus in Virology.
Professional Career:

• Research Associate, Maxygen, Inc, Redwood City, CA (2005-2008): worked on Phage Display techniques in the Rheumatoid Arthritis area.
• Associate Scientist, Gilead Sciences, Foster City, CA (2008-2016): worked on preclinical research and validation of multiple HIV regimens that are now in the clinic. Authored multiple scientific publications and congress presentations.
• Manager, Gilead Sciences, Foster City, CA (2016-present): Senior Information Scientist responsible for literature searching, patent and competitor landscape analysis and information retrieval and alerting, as part of the library and therapy area teams.

Personal Interests: Painting, travelling and hiking with my 2 sons.
