Enrique R. Filloy-García

Enrique R. Filloy-García holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Mexico. After postgraduate research at the Kanazawa Institute of Technology, Japan, he got an MSc in Information Technology from Edinburgh University, Scotland, and a PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence from the same University.

Enrique's professional experience concentrates on the programming and design of information systems, the management of information technology projects, and as a senior consultant on artificial intelligence technology transfer projects (e.g. telecommunications, geographical information systems, transport industry). He also worked as a patent examiner (computers and bioinformatics), and currently, he is the project leader of the EPO's Machine Translation Programme.
