Monalisa Patel comes with 5 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property. Currently She is working for Shell as Patent Landscape Analyst and prior to that she was with SABIC Research and Technology Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore. She has her post-doctoral research fellow in MEET Battery Research Centre, University of Muenster, Germany and General Electric India Technology Centre Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore.

She is Master in Chemistry (MSc) and holds a PhD degree in Materials Science and Electrochemistry from the department of Solid State and Structural Chemistry Unit (SSCU), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Her main area of research was on developing ion conducting polymeric membranes for Lithium/ Sodium battery application.
