Working for Roche since 1986, Karen Jendro started as laboratory technician in the department of research and development for diagnostic reagents. After 10 years Karen changed into the world of information professionals, taking with her the insight into the researcher's way to work an think. During the last 18 years Karen provided the scientific staff, the patent department and marketing at Roche Diagnostics in Penzberg with appropriate patent, literature and business information and analysis. Additional responsibilities are administration and maintainance of several internal databases (e.g. for workflow management of search requests, dissemination of alerts etc.) also including scouting for and establishing of new services.
